A fine quality Asprey & Co early 20th-century (1928) sterling silver Art Deco matchbook case.
Lovely two-tone engine-turned decorations, with silver-gilt sloping edges.
The lid is opened and closed by Asprey's patented sliding hinge.
The interior has its original gilding (gold washed). Fully hallmarked.
