This is a beautiful early 20th-century (1933) sterling silver Art Deco cigarette case, made by the luxury maker Asprey & Co Ltd.
Lovely two-tone engine-turned design, with silver-gilt sloping edges.
The lid is opened and closed by Asprey's patented sliding hinge.
The interior of the case has its original gilding (gold washed). Fully hallmarked.
