This is a superb Asprey Art Deco (1939) vintage sterling silver & etched glass dressing table or hatpin tall jar.
The silver gilt pull-off lid with fine engine-turned texture and has original gilding (gold washed), fully hallmarked.
The glass jar has moulded vertical patterns which are etched to accentuate the reeded texture.

DIMENSION: 4cm x 4cm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2"). Height: 16.4cm (6 1/2") approx.
WEIGHT: 189g all in (silver lid weighs 21g)
CONDITION: Excellent condition except the base of the glass has a small nibble, only minor. No dents and no damage to the silver. The lid closes securely.
