This is a lovely small/miniature antique Victorian double folding quill cutter or quill pen sharpener - the slender blades designed for cutting quill pen nibs to shape.
Genuine mother of pearl scales. Nickel Silver Bolsters. Brass Liners.
Antique carbon steel blades, with good springs, both blades snap nicely on opening and closing. Marked 'HC'.
