This is a beautiful Victorian 1887 antique sterling silver mounted and cut glass pepper mill/grinder.
Silver lid, base and handle, with original ebony knop. Every part of the silver is individually marked. All with matching hallmarks.
Having a profusely deep-cut glass container that reflects light in all directions.
The grinding mechanism is original to the pepper mill, by Peugeot Freres Brevetes SGDG. Fully working.
The pepper mill is free from personal inscriptions or monograms.
