This is a lovely late 19th-century (c.1890) antique German silver & glass dish.
A good-sized oval-shaped dish. Beautiful pierced silver, decorated with foliate borders and ribbon swags.
An oval cartouche to the front and back. Both are vacant and free from monograms.
The glass dish is made with thick glass and has a star-burst pattern on the base.
HALLMARKS: German, SILVER fineness 800.

SILVER WEIGHT: 70g (with glass dish 206g).
