This is a rare Chester hallmarked Sampson Mordan antique double-bladed folding penknife.
9 ct gold scales, hallmarked on both sides.
High carbon steel blades. Both are stamped with what looks like a triple S symbol. They snap strongly on opening and closing. Hinges are firm without wobble.
