A magnificent very large antique 1907 English sterling silver tobacco squeeze box.
Decorated with lovely Victorian-style hand-chased and engraved scrolling foliage.
The interior retains its original gilding (gold-washed).
Fully hallmarked on the body and the lid. There is an additional set of tiny Sterling marks on the spring.
The squeeze-action lid works perfectly, the spring-loaded hinge has strong tension. The lid closes flush and securely.
