A magnificent antique 1907 sterling silver large tobacco squeeze box.
Profusely decorated with lovely hand-chased and engraved scrolling foliage.
The interior retains its original gilding (gold-washed).
Fully hallmarked on the body and the lid. There is an additional set of tiny Sterling marks on the spring.
The squeeze-action lid works perfectly, the spring-loaded hinge has strong tension. The lid closes flush and securely.
