Very Rare 1906 Antique Solid Sterling Silver Go-To-Bed Combination Match Holder Cigarette Vesta Case Ashtray Snuff Box.

This is a very rare early 20th-century 1906 antique sterling silver combination 'Go-To-Bed' match & cigarette, snuff, portable ashtray box.
Elegant rectangular box with guilloche decorations. A stylised thumbpiece adorned with a pink gemstone.
The interior has its original gilding (gold-washed). It has compartments for a couple of cigarettes and for matches; an ashtray; a slot for a Go-To-Bed match; and grooves for a cigarette to rest on.
One side panel is hinged and openable for ease of cleaning.

Fully hallmarked in three places, with London Import silver hallmarks.
Free from inscriptions or monograms.
